Now that Alberta is allowing drivers to take a Defensive Driving Course online, I Drive Safely is proud to be the newest approved provider of the AMA Online Defensive Driving course.
We're dedicated to bringing you the best products and customer experience possible. In fact, our customer support team is one of the main reasons that the Better Business Bureau has awarded us their highest A+ rating. When you take the AMA Online Defensive Driving course via I Drive Safely, you can complete your 3-Point Demerit with more convenience and less hassle than ever before.
Because this AMA Defensive Driving Course is entirely online, you have the freedom to participate at your own pace. Complete a chapter in the morning, and maybe do another after work. When and where you study is totally up to you!
This course runs 6 hours not including test times, and the average time to complete it is approximately 8 hours.
You need to get at least 80% of 40 questions correct to pass this course.
You may take the AMA final exam twice, but most people pass on their first try.
The AMA Defensive Driving course can be taken as many times as it takes you to pass but you'll need to pay for the course again if you don't pass the final exam on your second attempt.
Upon completion of the AMA Defensive Driving course we'll send you a Notice of Driver Education Course Completion Certificate. Take this certificate to an Alberta Registries Private Issuing Agency to receive your demerit credit. Certificates will be ready in 3 - 5 business days after course completion.
