Course Outline

This easy-to-complete 6-hour driving safety course is broken up into short, simple chapters that include everything you need to know—from traffic and road laws to driving defensively and safety tips—so you can complete the traffic school course and receive your 3-demerit credit!

With this course you may qualify for:

• Reduced demerits on your record
  Drivers who carry more than 2 but less than 14 demerits on their driving record are eligible for a reduction. You may earn a 3-demerit credit once every 3 years, as long as you take a qualified driver safety course. Course completion certificates are valid for up to 2 years after the date of issue.
• Lower insurance rates
  If you have demerits on your driving record you may be paying too much for insurance! Your provider might offer a reduced premium for customers who complete this course. Please call your insurance company to confirm their pricing policies.

Guaranteed to Pass

At the end of this course you’ll take a final exam that is composed of 40 multiple-choice questions that come directly from the information you’ve just learned. You’ll need a score of 80% or higher to pass, you'll be allowed one free retake.

Certificate & Customer Service

After taking the final your certificate of completion will be processed and mailed to you directly. You may then take it to an Alberta Registry Office and request your demerit reduction.
